The Electrical Systems Engineer II will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites.
Required Skill Sets:
- BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- 2-5 years of hardware design or test engineering Advanced academic degrees may count toward experience.
- Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels is a must.
- Excellent analytical skills and demonstratable knowledge of electrical engineering and system level design.
- Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice- based simulation tool.
- Experience using MATLAB, Python, or other scripting language for scientific
- Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments a plus - including but not limited to aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical, or naval.
- Experience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) a
- Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
