Description/Job Summary

Basic Function

Responsible for overseeing repair and preventive maintenance performed on plant manufacturing equipment as well as performing related administrative duties.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee all maintenance and repair work performed on a daily basis.

2. Maintain files and records in an organized manner.

3. Plan the daily maintenance activities of to support manufacturing.

4. Perform all phases of equipment troubleshooting and diagnosing of equipment failures/issues.

5. Utilize hand and pneumatic tools, welder, grinding machine, drill press and other related tools/equipment to perform major repairs.

6. Arrange timely and cost-effective completion of significant equipment repair in coordination with outside facility as needed.

7. Test equipment as required to ensure properly working condition.

8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.

9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education/Training

Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent


Experience

Prior maintenance/equipment repair experience required.
