Position Summary:

In the Accountant position, you will play a crucial role within our Finance & Accounting team, contributing significantly to the continued growth and success of Direct Supply. Your responsibilities include reporting financial information, offering valuable financial insights to our internal customers, conducting thorough financial analysis, generating reports, and executing month-end close procedures.

What You'll Do and Impact:

• Oversee the invoicing process for design-build projects in accordance with AIA documentation standards.

• Manage the financial reporting system for design-build projects.

• Regularly engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

• Generate diverse financial analyses and reports for management review.

• Facilitate monthly meetings with internal stakeholders to discuss project profitability and identify key trends.

• Perform journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts during month-end close for the design-build business segment.

• Maintain customer accounts and provide support to accounts receivable and accounts payable teams.

• Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting team on month-end close activities spanning multiple revenue streams, lines of business, and Corporate functions.

• Contribute to various accounting process improvement initiatives.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• 0-2+ years of corporate and/or public accounting experience

Additional Items of Interest:

• Experience with Construction Accounting preferred but not required
