Starting Hourly Pay:$17.20

Primary Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Housekeeping Associate is to provide guests with an excellent room experience while providing friendly, attentive, and timely service and by ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of cleanliness and are properly presented.

Work Performed:

The Housekeeping Associate will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

  • Cleanand maintain hotel guest rooms, publicareas,and laundry within the hotelper established protocols, including but not limited to:
  • Removal of all used and unused linen/terry from room
  • Disinfect all high-touch surfaces and unused amenities
  • Clean bathrooms
  • Clean glass and mirrors, dust and polish furniture and equipment
  • Replace burned-out light bulbs
  • Remake beds with clean linens
  • Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom supplies
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Clean rugs, carpets upholstered furniture, anddraperies;
  • Ensure usage of approved cleaningchemicals;
  • Operate, stock, and maintain storage closets and room attendant carts to include such items as linens, towels, toiletry items, and cleaningsupplies;
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all workareas;
  • Examine and sort articles for laundry according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning techniquerequired;
  • Use laundering equipment and the correct amounts of proper chemicals to safely and thoroughly clean and presslinen;
  • Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas aredisinfected,clean, and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out oforder;
  • Uphold departmental standards of quality of work and timing measured by brand customer satisfaction metrics and Atrium laborguidelines;
  • May be required to train newly hired associates and support ongoing performancedevelopment;
  • Perform work on a deep cleaning and preventative maintenance scheduled program for all areas of the hotel as assigned. Use power equipment whenapplicable;
  • Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, report damage, theft, and found articles tosupervisor;
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions to leadership; and
  • Any and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Preferred Prior Experience:

Previous hotel housekeeping or other applicable cleaning experience

Prior customer service experience

Preferred Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical:

Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionally and 20lbs regularly

Ableto bend and squat repeatedly

Able to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift

Other:

Flexible towork dayshifts, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekends and holidays

Limpiar vidrios y espejos, quitar el polvo y pulir muebles y equipos.

Reemplazar bombillas quemadas

Rehacer las camas con sabanas limpias. Reponer suministros como vasos para beber, utiles de escritura y articulos de bano. Vaciar los cestos de basura y transportar otra basura y desechos a las areas de eliminacion.

Limpiar alfombras, moquetas, muebles tapizados y cortinas; Garantizar el uso de productos quimicos de limpieza aprobados;

Operar, almacenar y mantener armarios de almacenamiento y carritos de limpieza para incluir articulos como ropa de cama, toallas, articulos de tocador y articulos de limpieza;

Mantener la limpieza y organizacion en todas las areas de trabajo;

Examinar y clasificar los articulos para lavar segun el color, la tela, el contenido de suciedad y la tecnica de limpieza requerida;

Utilice equipos de lavado y las cantidades correctas de productos quimicos adecuados para limpiar y planchar la ropa de forma segura y exhaustiva; Realizar recorridos por los pasillos en cada turno para garantizar que las areas publicas esten desinfectadas, limpias y ordenadas, teniendo cuidado de retirar o reemplazar cualquier cosa que este fuera de servicio;

Mantener los estandares departamentales de calidad del trabajo y tiempos medidos por las metricas de satisfaccion del cliente de la marca y las pautas laborales de Atrium;

Puede ser necesario capacitar a los asociados recien contratados y apoyar el desarrollo continuo del desempeno;

Realizar trabajos en un programa de limpieza profunda y mantenimiento preventivo programado para todas las areas del hotel asignadas.

Utilice equipos electricos cuando corresponda; Observar las precauciones necesarias para proteger la propiedad del hotel y de los huespedes, informar danos, robos y articulos encontrados al supervisor;

Seguir todas las politicas y procedimientos de seguridad y de la empresa, informar al liderazgo sobre problemas de equipos y problemas de mantenimiento, accidentes, lesiones y riesgos de seguridad, o condiciones de trabajo inseguras; y Cualquier otro trabajo necesario para completar el proposito principal del puesto.

Experiencia previa preferida: Experiencia previa en limpieza de hotel u otra experiencia de limpieza aplicable. Experiencia previa en servicio al cliente. Educacion preferida: Diploma de escuela secundaria o su equivalente Fisico: Capaz de levantar un minimo de 50 librasocasionalmente y 20 libras regularmente Capaz de doblarse y ponerse en cuclillas repetidamente Capaz de caminar y estar de pie durante el turno programado.

Otro: Flexible para trabajar en turnos diurnos, temprano en la manana, tarde, noche, fines de semana y feriados.
