Job SummaryThis position is housed in the Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center's Office of Community Outreach, Engagement and Equity and provides leadership for ongoing assessment of the local cancer burden via collection and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data about cancer epidemiology, risk factors and equity. This role increases the impact of departmental programs and builds capacity for future growth using logic models and program metrics to conduct rigorous program evaluation. Through the development of evidence-based training for cancer center Research Advocates, this role enhances community engagement to ensure that cancer center research is relevant to our community. This position will supervise Graduate Research Assistants and public health interns and will also contribute to grant proposals and assist with producing peer-reviewed publications. This role may require occasional evening or weekend hours to meet the needs of community members.
