What Part Will You Play?
  • Administers, creates, and interprets reporting of business metrics and takes appropriate tuning action as necessary across mainframe and distributed environments that determine processing performance for Senior and Executive Management. Develops and maintains predictive modeling tools to enhance performance related to scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of production files by proactively assessing processing performance and future client needs.
  • Develops and administers automation tools, products, applications, and business processes to increase productivity, eliminate duplications, and coordinate information requirements so that jobs can be prioritized and resources maximized. Provides technical advice to all levels of management and team members on interpretation/ development/ revision of policies and procedures.
  • Work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts, training, communications and stakeholders to ensure smooth "go live" when new systems or processes are moved to production.
  • Recommend tuning opportunities to improve run-time optimization and work with business/ application team to remedy issues. Recommend, develop and maintain complex analytical tools utilizing statistical data to identify opportunities for improvement and consistency across all environments.
  • Lead operational support for all Business Continuity activities and conversion/ deconversion activities.
  • Maintain continuous line of communications, keeping internal partners informed of all critical issues. Representing the company externally as necessary.
  • Acts as a mentor to entry level roles.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Relevant Experience or Degree in: Information Technology or Business related study; relevant experience in lieu of education
  • Typically Minimum 6 Years Relevant Exp
  • Information Technology Field and/ or Bankcard Industry


Preferred Qualifications

  • IT or Business related study
  • 8+ Years Relevant Exp
  • Operations experience with CA, BMC or IBM suite of products

  • Skills / Knowledge - Having wide-ranging Experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Some barriers to entry exist at this level (e.g., dept./peer review).
  • Job Complexity - Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
  • Supervision - Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead).
  • Multi tasking - Ability to multi task and adapt to several projects at time.
  • Mainframe/distributed experience - Ability to understand concepts of mainframe and/or distributed work and processes tied to them.
  • Application/Productivity software - Advanced knowledge of software such as Microsoft suite, SQL, DB2 etc.
