POSITION SUMMARY:

Matheson gas is looking for a Control System Integrator with 5+ years' experience to fill a full-time position at its Houston, Texas office. The ideal candidate will program PLC and HMI software within the company as assigned, work to make sure assignments are completed within budget and on schedule, and communicate effectively with team members on project status and needs.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complete all programming projects (control logic, HMI screens, etc.) accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Siemens S7, HMI automation systems.
3. Assist with on-site start-up and troubleshoot, as needed.
4. Assist the Department Manager in the development of programming standards and library functions.
5. Proactively coordinate with project managers, vendor engineers, field technicians, and contractors.
6. Assist the Department Manager in training and certifying department technicians and operations teammates in efficient use of Siemens PLC equipment and programs.
7. Assist with FAT and SAT of new DCS / PLC / Networking.
8. Maintain and update PLC/HMI/Siprotec/TIA Portal programs and licenses.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. 5+ years of experience in process programming.
2. Experience with Siemens Simatic S7 -1500/1200/300/400/ET200 platforms, Allen-Bradley, PLCs.
3. Experience with Siemsns WinCC, Simatic HMIs, Inductive Automation/Ignition HMI software.
4. Ability to program in multiple languages, including ladder logic, structured text and VB scripting.
5. Ability to read, interpret and modify PLC wiring diagrams, Control Narratives and P&ID Drawings.
6. An Industrial Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university is highly preferred.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Strong technical and analytical proficiency with the ability to multi-task effectively and thrive in a team environment.
9. EIT certification and programming experience desirable.
