The Role

As Vice President, Corporates Demand Gen, you will be responsible for driving all marketing strategies and activities to meet business objectives in the U.S., Canada and Europe.He/She is accountable for developing a comprehensive marketing strategy and a set of marketing programs and tactics to achieve the financial and strategic objectives of the Corporates business, leveraging resources on their team and in partnership with centers of excellence in marketing and other functions.


This leader will be responsible for the business and marketing strategy for this segment across all our offerings. They will be accountable for driving business results in collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams, as well as functional marketing groups, including but not limited to: campaign planning and design, sales and product alignment, content and product marketing, analytics and budget management. This is a highly visible position that liaises with Segment President, General Managers and C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the leading TR categories including Tax & Trade, Legal, Risk & Fraud, Partnerships and exude ownership of the business and be able to deliver tangible results in a matrixed environment.

This role reports to the Head of Demand Generation, and into the Chief Marketing Officer.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Vice President, Corporates Demand Gen:

  • Success in this position will be dependent on deep functional and strategic marketing expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and relevant professional experience. Specifically, the successful candidate will focus on the following:
  • Delivers both short- and long-term revenue objectives by creating and executing a marketing strategy aligned to Segment's strategic plan and objectives
  • Assembles and orchestrates cross-functional teams to advance marketing strategy for new and existing products in direct partnership with functional Centers of Excellence including digital marketing, PR, content, product marketing, etc.
  • Develop and direct marketing messaging, creative design, audience targeting, segmentation, and retargeting strategies to deliver effective results.
  • Spearhead innovative marketing that is grounded in a compelling vision, clearly defined priorities, and measurable business results that are aligned with TR's strategy.
  • Own all execution/operational results in the Americas (US, Canada, and Europe) in addition to collaborating across global enterprise marketing functions. Leverage thought leadership to elevate TR as a Leader in Gen AI, innovation and SaaS marketing
  • Partner with finance & analytics to define and track data and insights around acquisition and customer retention, consistently balancing both short and long-term results.
  • Build strong cross-functional alignment to drive strategies and success with field sales, customer success, services, and partner and product marketing teams
  • Inspire, empower, and develop a hard-working team; optimize organizational structure and staff as required.

Accountabilities

  • Delivery of effective marketing strategies to fuel sales funnel, from marketing qualified lead to closed sale
  • Establish and deliver the financial targets for the segment
  • Delivery of sales growth through targeted marketing strategies
  • Ensure customer voice is driving marketing actions


About You
You're a fit for the role of Vice President, Corporates Demand Gen if your background includes:

  • Experience leading global teams in a matrixed environment with a data-driven approach.
  • Extensive leadership experience in enterprise technology and cloud-centric industries; scale and sophistication of a large global business.
  • A track record of success as an innovator and marketing strategist with 15 or more years of diverse experience in the technology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing a successful SaaS marketing organization of large scope, global reach, and complexity.
  • Confirmed experience driving marketing strategy and programs (thought leadership, demand generation) at scale.
  • Depth of knowledge and experience effectively crafting and running demand generation strategies, working closely with Sales and Product Marketing leadership.
  • Steadfast focus on the customer experience.
  • Deep understanding of marketing's role in delivering time-to-value as well as topline revenue.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $192,500 - $357,500. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
