Position Title: Director of Alliances, North America - Manufacturing Sector

Location: Remote (North America)

Job Overview: As the Director of Alliances for North America in the Manufacturing Sector, you will be instrumental in driving sales and go-to-market strategies across the region with our partner ecosystem. Your role is pivotal in forging robust collaborative selling engagements with our partners in the manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities include offering thought leadership, spearheading business development initiatives, and employing consultative selling techniques in your work with our partners. You will also be responsible for strategic account planning, serving as a proactive evangelist to raise awareness among manufacturing sales teams about Blue Yonder partners and their value propositions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing Industry Focus:
    • Collaborate with manufacturing account teams (sales and specialists) to identify, develop, and transition leads into new opportunities linked to partner collaborations.
    • Work closely with industry, solutions, and value engineering teams to shape sales engagement strategies for opportunities involving partners.
    • Provide quarterly updates internally to educate teams on latest partner offers, partner performance, partner collaboration best practices, and any partner company updates.
  • Sales Engagement Enhancement:
    • Proactively communicate Blue Yonder's value propositions and solutions to accelerate sales engagement, ensuring effective collaboration between partners and Blue Yonder manufacturing account teams.
  • Partner Engagement:
    • Identify and mobilize the appropriate partner account team members and sales management for active involvement in ongoing opportunities.
    • Act as a liaison to BY resources to help partners effectively communicate the latest BY messaging, value, and direction to provide to BY clients.
  • Joint Sales Activation:
    • Facilitate joint selling efforts to enhance predictability, expedite timelines, and increase deal sizes.
  • Collaboration and Campaign Development:
    • Partner with regional sales leaders and industry executives to devise campaigns or events aimed at generating joint pipeline.
    • Coordinate with marketing, industry, and solution teams from both parties to execute events.
  • Strategic Communications:
    • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with key manufacturing partners and Blue Yonder manufacturing executives, regional sales leaders, account teams, and partner management teams.
  • Partner Ecosystem Enablement:
    • Coordinate regional enablement sessions about partners and the partner ecosystem, including community calls, partner events, and training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership, collaboration, and executive presentation skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to synthesize multiple perspectives and drive consensus.
  • Self-motivated individual with a deep-seated drive for achieving results.
  • Proven experience in effectively positioning Blue Yonder solutions and value propositions.
  • Proficient in developing, maintaining, and influencing partner relationships across various levels and executive relationships both with partners and within BY.
  • Prior experience in working with partners and a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

The Salary Range for this position is $137,126.93 to $172,873.06

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
