We are seeking a Pediatric Home Health Occupational Therapist AND Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at our program in Arlington, TX.

Position Details

A registered professional who provides in home Occupational Therapy working with children. Plans coordinated care. Plans, implements and evaluates patient care plans to restore or maintain patient wellbeing. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team.

  • Administers the therapy treatment plan as developed by the Therapist Supervisor.
  • Applies concepts of infection control and universal precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
  • Accept clinical assignments that are consistent with education and competence to care for patients.
  • Uses effective interpersonal relations and communication skills; facilitates the use of these skills by other team members to achieve desirable outcomes.
  • Meets mandatory continuing education requirements of the agency/licensing board.

Licensed Occupational Therapists earn $18.00 per unit (unit typically 15 minutes). Approximately- $50-$72 per hour.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of therapy discipline.
  • Current Texas State Therapy License and a Current Driver's License.
  • Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance.
