Job Summary
Margin Manager is responsible for driving margin enhancement within the Heritage Pool Supply Group
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
-Engage with brand teams to analyze, prioritize and execute on margin enhancing opportunities via pricing
-Drive insight creation, impact tracking and reporting of margins
-Must be an influencer and capable of becoming the trusted advisor on margin enhancing price activity for the operating business
PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE
-3 years working in a pricing, margin management or similar role focused on enhancing profitability.
Skills/Specialized & Education
-Bachelor's degree
-Advanced skills in Microsoft excel
-Proficient in other Microsoft Office products
-Strong business acumen
-Experience in Pool Supply Industry
-Experience in Agility Software a plus
-Experience in SQL is a plus
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
-4 year college degree, MBA a plus
ADDITIONAL JOB DIMENSIONS
ASSOCIATED RISKS: Looking at screens for long periods of time.
BUSINESS ACCOUNTABILITY: accountable for driving margin improvement across the broader irrigation business portfolio
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY: Gross margin % of net sales
TYPICAL DIRECT REPORTS: Potential for future direct reports
INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Director of Pricing, indirect responsibility to HLSG leadership
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 2-3 days 2 weeks a month (20-30%)
WORK ENVIRONMENT: home office capable or office in branch location in region
