As the US Benefit Plans Manager you will be trusted to provide strategic and plan design support for US Health and Welfare benefit plan operations and financial management. You will also ensure financial stability and compliance of benefit plans through plan design, analyzing claims costs, and enrollment. In addition to these duties you will conduct analyses and provide support as needed to ensure ongoing benefits program competitiveness and compliance in Fort Worth, Texas!

Key Responsibilities:

US Health & Welfare strategic plan design support

  • Perform Ad-Hoc analysis and assist in proposal development

  • Investigation of new plans and vendors

  • Benchmarking and participation in surveys

  • Benefit communication support

  • Maintain internal & external claims and budget tracking documents

Financial & data analytics and tracking

  • Ad-Hoc requests

  • Financial and Utilization reporting

  • Merger & Acquisition support

  • Data Warehouse reporting and analysis

  • Quarterly medical and dental dashboards for leadership

  • Reconciliation of claims - vendor reports to banking

Compliance

  • Coordinate SPD/Plan document updates

  • Statutory requirement (e.g. 5500, SARs, Audits, , RxDC reporting, Gag clause attestation, etc.)

  • Review/Update plan information at benefit vendors

  • Assist with and/or review of development of contribution rates

  • Assist with vendor contracts

  • Internal controls for retiree medical and active plan changes

Benefit Communications
  • Assist with updating plan communications

  • Assist with employee meetings/annual enrollment process/benefit fairs

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 5 Years of Proven Experience
