Senior Financial Reporting Manager
The Senior Financial Reporting Manager role will be responsible for managing the preparation of financial reports for the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), bank regulatory agencies, company investors, the Board of Directors, senior management and others; including SEC Forms 10-K and 10-Q, earnings releases, quarterly Call and FRY reports, board reports, and others.
Position Competencies
Successful incumbents possess ability to oversees critical regulatory reports that must be timely, accurate and in compliance regulations; can create and edit financial narrative for inclusion in SEC, stock market filings, and internal documents; can serve as point of contact for implementation, consultation and documentation of accounting and regulatory disclosure issues; have advanced knowledge of SEC reporting software (e.g. Workiva) and XBRL tagging programs; and having "Big 4" public accounting experience is a plus.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Review financial disclosures and reports for accuracy and completeness, while assisting staff with proper preparation of these reports.
  • Create, edit and review financial narratives to supplement data in financial reports.
    Manage reporting processes to ensure timeliness and proper workflow and incorporation of all feedback received from other collaborators.
  • Research and consult on complex reporting issues and respond to ad-hoc requests for reports and information.
  • Manage and develop staff.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, increase efficiencies and improve controls.

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting
  • 7 years of experience in accounting and reporting
  • 3 years of experience in management and staff development
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
