Nokia of America Corporation, Solution Architect, (Multiple Positions), Dallas TX.

SALARY RANGE: $120,060 - $200,200 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)


Nokia of America Corporation, Solution Architect, (Multiple Positions), Dallas TX. Perform software solution integration for Nokia customers' core mobile networks, including IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Subscriber Data Management (SDM), Packet Core and 5G network technologies. Design Schema for Shared Data Layer (SDL) and One Network Directory Server (NDS) subscriber data base. Assist with provisioning gateway for Shared data layer and One NDS for multiple front end network applications including Home Location Register (HLR), Home Subscriber Server (HSS), Unified Data Management (UDM), Nokia Application Publisher, and Gateway Mobile Location Center (GMLC). Author and execute complex Method of procedures (MOPs) to support the delivery and configuration of these systems. Contribute to and support Systems Integration (SI) delivery process. Conduct discussions with customers for new solution requirements and status update/resolutions. Perform subscriber balancing for distributing subscribers uniformly in the database to optimize performance and throughput. Provide support for end-to-end implementation from kick off to rollout in live production system. #LI-DNI


JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience. Employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience with the following: Shared Data Layer (SDL) or One NDS Subscriber data base.

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience with the following: Schema Design and Subscriber Balancing for performance and throughput optimization; 4G and 5G Networks and Call flows; End-to-End Provisioning Gateway system; Automation tools, including ARTS, TOP, Intelligent Processing Solutions Limited (IPSL), and Chef; Deploy, integrate and configure application on cloud using CloudBand Infrastructure Software (CBIS) or CloudBand application Manager (CBAM); 3GPP specifications and LTE architecture; Linux operating system; Service Provisioning Markup Language (SPML) and HTTP; and Lightweight directory access protocol (LDAP) commands and database.

Of the required experience, must have 1 years of experience with the following: Kubernetes; and XML or JAVA technologies.

Domestic travel up to 5% required.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted, up to 20%.
