Travel Seller Media Strategist

About Your Business Area/Department:

The Digital Media Team at Amadeus is a dedicated team of experts providing end-to-end campaign management. Our goal is to drive qualified traffic and direct bookings leveraging cross-channel advertising across paid search, display, and social media.

Main responsibilities:

  • 45% - Communications with clients through both calls and emails and occasional face to face meetings, presentation of results, discussing strategic options for the campaigns and overall relationship management of the account. Also responsible for client retention through delivering strong campaign results.
  • 45% - Management and co-ordination of assigned campaigns. Implement data-driven strategies to reach client and company goals. Creative campaign management and strategies for each client across portfolio, taking into account knowledge of client, data from campaigns, tacit knowledge and BI data
  • 10% - Working with colleagues to explore new opportunities in GDS media and knowledge shareCollaborativeOngoing 360 team feedback on training and performance

About the Ideal Candidate:

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study; may include Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Business Intelligence, Communications

Relevant work experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant media experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a client facing role, with a demonstrated passion for innovation, strategy, thinking outside of the box and establishing positive customer relationships, every time.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with successful management of projects through organization, multi-tasking, prioritization, communication, and time management skills.

Business understanding:
  • Good understanding of market trends and hospitality KPIs. Media experience in the Hospitality industry a major advantage.
  • Ability to evaluate data trends, understand and evaluate budget/results, upsells, ROAS, margins and KPIs and other numeric data effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to understand the statistics & troubleshoot the data to identify the way forward.
  • Need to stay updated, ways of optimizing campaigns and market trends.

Skills:
  • Computing: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) + other Microsoft software
  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken), Fluency in local language(s) (written and spoken)
  • Specific knowledge: Media experience in the Hospitality industry a major advantage
  • Other: Out-of-the-box thinking, analytical skills, great oral and written communication skills, ownership, eagerness to learn and share knowledge, teaching skills, strong focus on outcomes,
